Fadhilat Sheikh Imam Hamzat Yusuf Abdulraheem Ariyibi of Ariyibi Compound, Oke-Apomu, Ilorin is the Proprietor of Imam Hamzat Group of Schools and his Islamic Training Institute (Kuliyyah Imam HamzahLittalimilArabiy Wad-DirasatilIslamiyah) and Visitor to Imam Hamzat College of Education and College of Health Technology, Ilorin..

He is an astute educationist, an erudite Islamic Cleric of international repute, a Philanthropist and a God-fearing achiever.

At an early stage in life, Fadhilat Sheikh Hamzat had a vision of impacting and transforming the lives of the youths, both for God and humanity.

He was born into the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Yusuf of Ariyibi Compound in the Oke-Apomu Area of Ilorin in the year 1960.  He is the recipient of various awards from a host of organizations like the National Congress of Nigeria as “Senior Ambassador Award”, Arabic Students Association of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin tagged “Dawah Propagation Merit Award”, Ilorin Emirates Students’ Union, National Open University Chapter, titled “Merit Award” the UNIMUP Award for Excellence and the Award for Excellence by Ilorin Emirate Students Union, Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Ilorin Chapter, Kwara State Polytechnic Merit Award, Kwara State College of Education, Oro Merit Award, the University of Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union Award of Emirate Ambassador and the Kinsey College of Education, Ilorin Merit Award.

He commenced his early Quranic education from As-Sheikh Abdulraheem Ariibi of Ariibi Compound, Adangba Area, Ilorin, Kwara State.

He started his Islamic and Arabic Education programme from one of an erudite Islamic Scholar, As-Sheikh Sulyman Ile Iya Eyin Odi and Alfa Agba Omoleyin.

He attended the Arabic and Islamic Training Centre Oke Agodi from 1980 to 1988 from where he proceeded to the Dawah Propagation Centre, Cairo Egypt from 1994-1995.  He also attended Crown Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti from 2012-2014 for Ordinary National Diploma in Business Administration and later proceeded for his Higher National Diploma from Interlinks Polytechnic, Ijebu-Ijesha from 2014-2016 for the same course respectively.

Sheikh Hamzat is a philanthropist not only to the Muslim Ulamas alone but to non-Muslims and a pillar of strength to the youths of his community and Ilorin as a whole.  He is happily married with many children.
